His overseas volunteer experience ignited a passion to share that experience with others, and he joined a non-profit international volunteer organization. During that time, he set up volunteer operations in 10 countries throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America. Later, he did brief stints with a couple of technology start-up companies. Returning to his passion for helping connect people of different cultures, he founded Terra Education, from which Discover Corps was later born.
