We want to offset the emissions caused by your flights!
Most forms of travel generate emissions in the form of Carbon (CO2). To combat this, Discover Corps has partnered with Native Energy to calculate the emissions from your vacation and present you with the option of offsetting them through different projects that protect the environment.
This year for Black Friday, Discover Corps wants to pick-up those extra funds needed to offset your emissions.
The Details
- Discover Corps trip must be booked November 29-December 2, 2019 (but you can travel anytime!)
- Not redeemable for cash or transferable
- We will happily present you with a receipt of the carbon offsets that were purchased. The dollar amount changes from trip to trip based on the length of your flight and number of travelers, so we can provide you that information when you’re ready to book
The Project These Funds Will Support
Your contribution to this project helps protect 500,000 acres of tropical rainforest in Brazil. Further, it reduces deforestation-related carbon emissions, mitigates climate change, and conserves important habitat areas for native endemic species. Local communities also benefit from increased employment opportunities and agricultural training. Learn more about the project here.
