5 Days / 4 Nights

$2,995 Adult / $2,895 Child

Discover a different side of Costa Rica where creativity, sustainability, and connection come together. This journey invites you to slow down, engage deeply, and experience the vibrant heart of Costa Rica through its people.

The Experience

Set in the lush Central Valley, this journey blends creativity, culture, and community all in the span of one long weekend. You’ll explore how Costa Ricans are reimagining sustainability—from artisans giving new life to retired airplane seats, to farmers cultivating cacao through regenerative practices.

Between immersive hands-on experiences, unwind at your boutique mountain lodge surrounded by volcano views and tropical greenery. Whether baking bread in a village kitchen, crafting an upcycled keepsake, or sharing laughter over a home-cooked meal, each day offers a genuine connection with the people who make this region so special. In your free time, opt to whitewater raft, zip-line, hike a volcano or simply relax to the sounds of the rainforest.

A Meaningful Adventure in the Heart of Costa Rica

From upcycled artisan workshops to farm-to-table meals, this Costa Rica adventure turns travel into impact and connection.

Our Impact

This journey directly supports Costa Rican initiatives leading the way in sustainability and empowerment. In Turrialba, meet the women of Wearsos, who transform retired airline materials into artisan goods, creating jobs and reducing waste. In the nearby town of Mollejones, you’ll join locals turning creativity into opportunity through circular design. Visits to organic cacao and coffee farms further your impact by supporting small producers committed to protecting Costa Rica’s biodiversity. Together, these partnerships showcase how innovation and collaboration can build stronger, more sustainable communities.

Where You’ll Stay

Your home-away-from-home is Villa Bosque, a boutique bed and breakfast nestled in the peaceful mountain town of Turrialba. Surrounded by lush greenery and sweeping volcano views, this locally owned property embodies Costa Rican hospitality and tranquility.

Wake to birdsong and fresh mountain air before breakfast on the terrace. In your free time, enjoy the yoga deck, tennis court, or a drink at the bar as the sun dips below the hills. Villa Bosque is more than a stay—it’s a place to rest, recharge, and connect with the natural rhythms of Costa Rica.

Itinerary Overview

Your adventure begins in San José before heading into the lush mountains of Turrialba for a welcome dinner with volcano views. The days that follow weave together creativity and connection—crafting upcycled keepsakes at Wearsos, sharing lunch and breadmaking with locals in Mollejones, and exploring a sustainable cacao farm to make your own chocolate.

Things to do in Costa Rica- Rafting

You’ll also enjoy a sunset farm-to-table dinner, with time to relax or join optional adventures like rafting or coffee farm visits. The trip concludes with a scenic return to San José, carrying home meaningful memories and new friendships.

Traveler’s Journal

“We are so grateful to have had this experience! Our time in Turrialba was both meaningful and educational. We visited local villages, made bread, and explored Nortico cacao farm which was unique, uplifting, and deeply enjoyable. The Wearsos interactive sewing shop visit was especially wonderful. Everyone loved the conversations and the chance to create something truly memorable. We only wish we’d had more time… Guess we’ll just have to come back!”
