Cuba – Family Island Exploration

Uncover Cuba’s iconic arts and music scene, stunning beaches and countryside & friendly locals on this family tour to Cuba.

The Place and The People

Live music fills the narrow streets of Havana. Funky artwork spills out of colorful art galleries. Lush mountain valleys and a tropical Caribbean coastline define the island’s landscape. Traveling to Cuba is truly one of the most unique experiences a family can have today.

Over the course of 6 days, we will take you to all of the must-see sights along the north coast of the island. From Havana’s colorful colonial squares to the turquoise waters that calmly lap Cuba’s sandy beaches,  your family will experience the stunning natural beauty of the island. Along the way, go behind-the-scenes and meet with artists, musicians and the folks working to make Cuba a better place for its people. This is a family tour to Cuba that will open your children’s eyes to the world and experience one of the last places where technology is non-existent and a slow pace of life still persists.

Balance your time snorkeling over the crystal clear Caribbean waters while also learning about the unique history and culture of the island.

Where You'll Stay

During your trip, you’ll divide your time between casas particulares and an oceanfront hotel. In Havana, you’ll have the unique opportunity to stay in casas particulares, which literally translates as private homes. Casas are essentially family-run bed & breakfasts (think AirBnB’s with private breakfast in the morning). Families invest in making sure their houses are up to international quality standards, and they greet you with Cuban hospitality – but also give you the privacy and comfort you desire.

In the stunning Caribbean peninsula of Veradero, stay in a gorgeous oceanfront resort just steps from Cuba’s Caribbean beaches. Enjoy fine dining, luxurious amenities, and everything you need to relax on an island vacation.

Traveler's Journal

Traveling to Cuba as a family was something I have been dreaming about for years. When I came across this trip, it was exactly what I was looking for – a meaningful family-friendly experience in Cuba that is more than just resorts and beaches. We had so much fun meeting with the artist in Matanzas and our hosts at the casas particulares will always be remembered as family. My kids still talk about this trip regularly!
