Galapagos – Wildlife Odyssey

Marvel at the unique must-see wildlife, world-class snorkeling, and experience off-the-beaten-track locales of the islands. $4,895 Adult* / $4,395 Child*

Our Purpose

The Galápagos archipelago is one of the most bio-diverse places on Earth, but the ecosystem is fragile, and understanding how to interact with the islands is crucial. The islands, deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are located 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador and are home to unique animals such as the Galápagos shark, marine iguana, Galápagos penguin blue-footed boobies, and of course, the Galápagos giant tortoise.

You’ll experience firsthand how humans live in harmony with nature, balancing human development and preservation of the nature and wildlife that call the Galápagos home.

What You'll Do

Split your time between the land and sea. Have lunch with a fisherman and his family to learn more about how they live and respect the nature around them, visit markets to see how the islands inspire the artwork and textiles of the people, and visit an organic farm to learn more about coffee harvesting, fruit grown on the islands, and otoy (food grown for the giant tortoises). Spend the rest of your time with must-see wildlife and off-the-beaten-track locales of the islands.

This trip will take you to countless different beaches and landscapes, all with spectacular snorkeling and bird watching. Search for blue-footed boobies at Kicker Rock, relax at the beach of Tortuga Bay, snorkel in search of the Galápagos iguana and shark at the world famous Pinzon and Daphne Islands, and see tortoises in their natural habitat at the Galapaguera Breeding Center.

What You'll See

Before heading off to the islands, you will experience panoramic views of Quito aboard the Teleferico Complex, a 4,050 meter cable car located on the summit of Cruz Loma. Keep your eyes open for the 14 peaks of the Andes, or the “Avenue of Volcanoes” during your journey. On the mainland, you’ll also visit Otavalo and their famous artisan markets.

Jet off to the islands in search of wildlife you can only find in the Galápagos – blue footed boobies, the Galápagos iguana and shark, frigate birds, the Galápagos giant tortoise, and so much more. Marvel at the craters of Daphne Island, the expansive and pristine shoreline of Tortuga Bay, lava ground, and more.

Traveler's Journal

“The Galápagos Islands have been a bucket list destination for us for quite some time, but it was important to us that we were traveling responsibly given the history of the islands. We felt that we got a very deep look into how the people of the Galápagos work together with nature to preserve the land, plus, the wildlife (and especially the snorkeling) was absolutely incredible. An awesome idea for a family vacation!”
