Sydney is the iconic backdrop of Australia. Blessed with year-round sunshine, a thriving art & music scene and an abundance of nature surrounding the city, Sydney is arguably one of the most stunning cities in the world. Where else can you spend the morning relaxing at the beach followed by an afternoon exploring the modern cafes and expansive gardens of the city?
Over the course of two and half days, we’ll visit the most iconic sites of Sydney, including the Opera House, botanic gardens, Darling Harbour and Bondi Beach. Then head to the breathtaking Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for their dramatic cliffs, eucalyptus forests, and the iconic Three Sisters rock formation. A perfect blend of urban & rural to cap off your trip to Australia!

Our home-away-from-home is the 5-star Porter House Hotel in the heart of Sydney. A beautifully preserved 1876 heritage building, this property us seamlessly integrated into the city, offering stylish rooms with city views. The hotel is just steps from Hyde Park, Pitt Street Mall, the Australian Museum, and Capitol Theatre—making it ideal for exploring Sydney in your free time.
Itinerary Overview
Take a short flight from Cairns to Sydney. Hit the ground running with a half-day guided tour of the city’s main sites including Darling Harbour, the Sydney Opera House, the Botanic Gardens and Circular Quay. The day will finish in world-renowned Bondi Beach, where you can spend the rest of the day or head back into the city for free exploration. The next morning, we’ll venture out of the city to the Blue Mountains on a full-day tour.
Known for their breathtaking natural beauty, including dramatic sandstone cliffs, lush eucalyptus forests, waterfalls, and deep gorges, we’ll explore the key sites of this National Park as well as the visit the Featherdale Wildlife Refuge. Head back to Sydney later in the afternoon for a free evening in the city. The final day of the trip includes some free time to see any remaining sites in the city before your international flight home.
