What is the minimum group size for a private trip with Discover Corps?
Private departures are available for groups of any size. Whether you’re traveling as a family, a group of close friends, or a multi-generational gathering, we’ll design an experience that works for your numbers and your goals.
How far in advance do I need to book a private group trip?
We recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance for most private trips, and 6 to 8 months for travel during peak holiday periods. That said, we’re experienced at accommodating shorter lead times. Reach out and we’ll let you know what’s possible!
Can we customize the itinerary, destinations, and activities?
Completely. Private trips start with your group’s interests and we build from there. We’ll shape every element: destinations, pace, accommodations, and activities around what matters most to your group.
Are flights included in a private group trip?
Flights are not included in the program fee, but we have a partnership with a travel agency that can assist your group in organizing airfare. We’ll connect you with the right contacts once your trip is confirmed.
Can you accommodate different fitness levels or ages within the same private group?
Yes. We design private itineraries to work for the full range of your group. For families with younger children, we can recommend destinations that are particularly well-suited. We discuss activity levels, mobility considerations, and age ranges during the planning process so no one is left behind.

What is included in a Discover Corps private trip?
Private trips typically include boutique accommodations, ground transportation, expert local guides, meals as noted, purified drinking water throughout, and 24/7 on-the-ground and pre-departure support. A detailed custom proposal outlines every inclusion specific to your itinerary.
Is travel insurance required for a private group trip?
Travel insurance is not required but strongly recommended. We partner with Arch RoamRight and can refer your group for a quote. All Discover Corps travelers are covered by medical insurance through CISI for the duration of the trip.
