Our Impact
This family-focused vacation will open your eyes to one of the most fascinating islands on the planet, connecting you with the local communities that make Cuba so captivating. Meet with artists, farmers and musicians, as well as the people working to make Cuba a better place for its children. Go behind the scenes at a center for those with special needs. This is a family tour to Cuba that will open your children’s eyes to the world and experience one of the last places where technology is non-existent and a slow pace of life still persists.

Where You’ll Stay
During your trip, you’ll divide your time between casas particulares and an oceanfront hotel. In Havana, you’ll have the unique opportunity to stay in casas particulares, which literally translates as private homes. Casas are essentially family-run bed & breakfasts (think AirBnB’s with private breakfast in the morning). Families invest in making sure their houses are up to international quality standards, and they greet you with Cuban hospitality – but also give you the privacy and comfort you desire.
In the stunning Caribbean peninsula of Veradero, stay in a gorgeous oceanfront resort just steps from Cuba’s Caribbean beaches. Enjoy fine dining, luxurious amenities, and everything you need to relax on an island vacation.

Itinerary Overview
Arrive in the buzzing Cuban capital of Havana and take a class convertible ride around the city streets. Explore the quaint squares of Old Havana and, along the way, make a stop at a center for special needs students to learn about special education in Cuba. Continue on to the stunning Viñales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and zip-line of the gorgeous Cuban countryside.

Meet with a local fruit farmer and hike through the large magotes, or rocky mountains that surround you. We’ll then make the journey to the iconic Varadero Beach for two nights of culture and relaxation. Meet a local Cuban artist and snorkel over the calm waters before returning to Havana for the journey home.
