What Can I Expect?
Due to the severe lack of state-run hotel space in Cuba, casas are becoming extremely popular for travelers to Cuba. Each casa must register with the government and provide the following for its guests:
- Double or single occupancy rooms
- Air conditioning
- Private or “Jack-and Jill” style bathrooms
- Hot and cold water
- A fresh breakfast each morning
This allows travelers to have comfortable, authentic experience in Cuba. It is also a fantastic way to come face-to-face with Cuban culture and immerse yourself into the day-to-day of Cuban society.
